Tickets and Entry to Machu Picchu 2025

entry-machu-picchuIn 2021, five tourist circuits were established for visiting the Inca city of Machu Picchu. Through Ministerial Resolution 528-2023-MC, the Ministry of Culture of Peru has modified these circuits. As a result, starting June 1, 2024, three new circuits grouping ten routes for visiting the Inca city of Machu Picchu have come into effect.

The best way to ensure your entry to Machu Picchu is by purchasing tickets through a travel agency, as only 2,500 visitors are allowed per day. A travel agency guarantees your ticket 100% for this world wonder.

At Viajes Machupicchu, we offer personalized assistance for purchasing your Machu Picchu entry tickets and access to the different visit circuits.

To acquire these entry tickets, the following information is required:

  • Full name of the passenger
  • Nationality
  • Date of birth
  • Identification document

Since July 15, 2011, by ministerial resolution, entry and visits to Huayna Picchu have an additional cost. This ticket cannot be sold separately, and you must decide at the time of purchase whether you want to visit only Machu Picchu or both Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu. No changes can be made after purchase (adding or removing Huayna Picchu access).

Payments can be made with Visa cards from your place of residence. If you are already in Cusco, you can pay for your Machu Picchu entry ticket at Banco de la Nación offices with the assigned code to complete the online purchase.

Children under 8 years old do not need to pay for entry.

Visitors aged 9 to 17 are considered students, and if you are an adult, you must present a valid ISIC student card.
